Q. How does NHCPL notify patrons when items are ready for pick up, overdue, due soon, etc.?

Patrons are able to receive notifications via telephone, email, or text message. Telephone notifications are done twice a day via an auto dialer system. Text message notifications will incur any applicable charges from your mobile phone carrier.

• Note: Emails, phone calls, and text messages are a courtesy service. There is no guarantee that the calls, texts or emails will be received.

​Patrons are also able to check due dates and the arrival status of requested items by logging into your library account with your library card number and your PIN and checking your account summary.
