Free parking is available at each library location.
For the Main Library:
- parking is available in the New Hanover County Parking Deck located at 212 North 2nd Street, next to the library in the new Grace District downtown. The entrance to the deck is on 2nd Street between Chestnut and Grace Streets.
- Library customers may park for free for up to 2 hours in designated spaces on the first floor. In addition, the deck offers one free hour of parking for all visitors. Paid parking is available throughout the rest of the deck.
