If you currently have an item on hold but would like to get it later, you can suspend a hold. When logged in to your account, click on Account Activity and Holds. On this screen, you can select Suspend Until underneath the title and choose the date when you would like to be placed back at the top of the holds list. 

If you would like to suspend all your holds, you can check them all to the right of the items and select Suspend Until at the top of the page.
