Q. Why did my item(s) renew without me doing anything?

NHCPL has turned on our software's Auto-Renew feature for the time being. That means that any items which come due and can be renewed will be automatically renewed. 

Items will not be auto-renewed if:

• there are holds on the item and other patrons are waiting for it
• the item has already been renewed twice before

Auto-renewals happen overnight while the rest of us are asleep in our beds. Zzzzzz...
