Thank you for reaching out about adding your books to our collection. For local authors we have two options:

  • A Local Author Donation collection, which entails a single copy of each item donated to the New Hanover County Public Library. You can read over the policy and submit a form at the following link: https://nhclibrary.libwizard.com/f/LAD_Form. Once you submit a form, you can either mail the items to Christine Ingram, 201 Chestnut Street, Wilmington, NC 28401, or drop by any library location and let the staff know it is a Local Author Donation.
  • For Purchasing requests, we have a standard Suggest a Purchase form on our website.

Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing with either route you decide to take.
